A Hole in the Sky

Work is often enigmatic.

One part fluffy white clouds of promise. One part dark clouds of disillusionment.

In the middle is a hole in the sky, the place where our personal dreams often get squeezed out. Sometimes we’re so distracted by the white fluffies and the dark thunderheads, that we forget to focus on the bright blue in the center of our hearts.

So what about you? Are you making sure your work is connected to your personal dream instead of squeezing it out? If the decisions you make don’t brighten your purpose, then decide differently.

Each man or woman gets one shot at the bright blue hole in the middle of the sky. Are you centered on that target? Or are you going to let the clouds cover your dreams until you can’t see them anymore? Reach high, and go for it. One of the worst things that may happen is nothing.
