Capitol Improvement

Business owners, CEO’s, CFO’s, and others, often complain to me about tax laws, liability burdens, and more in a tough economic climate. Since this is a big election year, I’d like you to encourage you to get informed — so you can help make a difference.

Don’t take someone else’s word for what a candidate stands for. Research it yourself. It takes mere minutes to look up websites, including personal opinion, mission statements, and more so you can find out whether a candidate believes in the same priorities as you. You might be surprised.

I once looked up someone who boasted in a television ad that they were pro-life, and yet, on their website they clearly said the opposite. This is not the kind of person I want to place my trust in to make decisions on my behalf.

I never support breaking a law, but I certainly support changing laws. If you aren’t happy with the ones we have, then do something about it. Get informed, then get out and vote.

Capital improvements start with the individual. Will you help make a difference?
