Wired That Way Personalities

The past two days I shared the beginning of my twenty plus study on human personality. This simple yet powerful tool has saved my marriage, given me insight at work, and reduced frustration.

If you would like to know more, I recommend Wired That Way by Marita Littauer and one or all of Florence Littauer’s books on the subject. Why do I use their system over the many alternatives out there? Here’s a few reasons:

  • Their information is credible, well-researched, and has years of study and experience to back it up.
  • Their program is simple enough to remember. Information does us no good if we can’t retain and apply it.
  • They touch the heart side of human personality along with the practical and scientific. Emotions are strong drivers behind how we operate.

For several years, I’ve taught all over the country on this subject, and the results are always the same. I’ve been accused of mind-reading, peeking into people’s private lives, or having insider information. But the truth is, human nature hasn’t changed since the beginning of time. Understanding our differences becomes a secret to success at work, home, and in the world. And it makes life more fun while we’re living, because we are wired that way.

Proverbs 20:5 (NIV)

The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out.
